Hello. My name is Saranya Shiva-Shankar and I am a student at Hillsborough High School, New Jersey. I am passionate about anthropology and I have created this non profit organization to promote my mission of enabling a shared understanding of social, health and equity practices of different cultures in local communities thereby creating a more well informed and inclusive society. I am also passionate about arts and sports. I have been painting since I was in the 3rd grade and recently donated a portrait of the first police officer of Hillsborough to the Hillsborough township. When I am not studying or painting, I am an active member of my community through Girls Scouts and also dedicate time to playing volleyball, where I play on my schools varsity team and my club team as an outside hitter.
